Rustic & Contemporary Landscape in Prosper, TX for Custom Homes Star of Texas Landscape is proud to present the 'Rustic & Contemporary Landscape' , an incredible transformation that brings together contemporary sophistication and the essence of rustic design in Prosper, Texas. We serve clients from various regions in North Dallas, including Allen, Frisco, and McKinney, and designed this landscape as a response to a custom home’s physical characteristics and architecturally integrated design. This brought together the sweet spot of natural stone walking paths, colorful flowerbed layouts, and softscape elements to achieve ideal relaxation or entertaining. The plants we selected were drought tolerant, native grasses, and seasonal flowers that would provide the desired aesthetics year round while also ensuring a sustainable landscape. The locally sourced flagstone and weathered wood provides the perfect layout for inviting seating and spaces, ideal for family gatherings and quiet evenings. An initial challenge of the was the property’s slopping terrain, and we sought innovative approaches to create terraces that not only were functional, but also visually pleasing. Our team devised a combination of retaining walls that were composed of reclaimed wood, mixed with natural boulders, to produce dynamic space that served as an enhancement, but also addressed the drainage and soil stability. The end result was a serene retreat that met our client’s desires for lifestyle and values in their landscape and home. The space is accommodated with accent lighting to highlight relevant features, and custom water feature that adds an extra ambiance and soothing retreat outdoors.
