Light Farms - By Star of Texas Landscape Located in North Texas, the Light Farms by Star of Texas Landscape exemplifies our dedication to innovative design and world-class craftsmanship. Serving the growing communities of Allen, Anna, Celina, and other cities in the area, this was designed to allow two families to enjoy their outdoor amenities in peace, reflecting the natural beauty of the area. Our team was excited for the chance to turn a blank canvas into a lush landscape. After taking time to develop a complex landscape, the team developed a design with layered plantings, paving with pathways, and gathering areas. Using only Texas native plants not only looks great but is a sustainable practice, allowing landscapes to thrive with little maintenance. Using the highest-quality stone materials was essential; we built a patio for outdoor dining as a centerpiece and durable hardscapes to suit the climate. Softscapes that include flowering beds and texture trees and shrubs helped break up the stony hardscape, providing color and texture around the landscape throughout the seasons. Lastly, our talented landscapers had the uphill battle of grading the yard while having drainage engineer out that would help the landscape withstand the Texas storms while having the client enjoy it for years to come. The end result brought both function and beauty. The client now enjoys a stunning entrance with flowering perennials and ornamental grasses that sway when the wind blows. The custom patio cares a table and seating area around the fire pit allowing for family gatherings or evening warmth. At Star of Texas Landscape, we strive to create landscapes that exceed out client’s expectations, and we did just that with Light Farms. Our fortitude on quality of detail allowed us to create a vibrant outdoor sanctuary for our clients to enjoy for years to come.
