About This Project

### Batter Up by Aedan Workshop Located in the centre of Apex, the 'Batter Up' landscaping reflects the quality and innovation of Aedan Workshop. This large outdoor overhaul was inspired by the requirements of an active family home and draws you into a dynamic area that invites spending time outside in the open air. At the heart of the is a custom baseball diamond constructed from premium turf and other weather-resistant materials to create a safe and fun environment for kids and families to play in. We planted a sequence of native and abundant vegetation around the diamond that gives the space additional life while also encouraging biodiversity. Seasonal pops of color with low maintenance through Carolina Jessamine and Eastern Redbud offer thoughtful selections. The non-flat nature of the ground where we would be building presented one of the more complex hurdles we would face on this . This was addressed by our team at Aedan Workshop using a tiered landscaping design which both created an even surface and doubled as natural seating for the onlookers. Natural stone paths provide a connection between the ball diamond and the rest of the backyard, leading visitors through gardens brimming with perennials and ornamental grasses. Not only did the stay within the original budget, the end product went beyond the client`s expectations as their backyard had finally been transformed into an outdoor haven for the family to play yet still be connected with nature. With the 'Batter Up' , Aedan Workshop reaffirms its commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction, providing families in Apex, Cary, Chapel Hill and beyond an outdoor oasis, where they will make memories for years to come.
