Located in downtown Boise, the provides an artistic expression of nature and function, customized to fulfill the client's needs. The landscaping includes a variety of native plantings that were purposely selected because of their durability and beauty. We utilized a variety of drought-tollerant species to address sustainability, while improving visual impact. Beautiful paths made from local flagstone weave throughout the property, inviting visitors through gardens filled with perennial flowers and ornamental grasses. The site presented the primary challenge of being completely sloped. Our team devised a series of terraced gardens to control surface drainage and provide multiple levels of visual interest to the landscape. The retaining walls made from natural stone were used to define the different elevations, and allowed each elevated layer to provide an element of rustic charm. The final product is a beautiful outdoor setting that engages with the natural environment. The clients expressed their delight in the s improved curbside appeal, while creating a beautiful retreat in their back yard, for entertainment and solitude. The Crocker Avenue is a showcase of Stack Rock Group's commitment to landscape architecture excellence, within the Boise region and beyond.
