North Bergen Beauty Hufnagel Landscape Design & Construction is excited to showcase “North Bergen Beauty”, a landscaping that has transformed an underwhelming outdoor space into a stunning sanctuary. Located in the vibrant community of North Bergen, we take pride in our attention to detail and aesthetics, serving clients in the highly populated areas of Guttenberg, Montclair, New York, Nutley, Union City, Weehawken, West New York, Hoboken, and Jersey City. North Bergen Beauty is a combination of hardscape and softscape elements, featuring a beautiful stone patio comprised of natural bluestone, which is durable and visually appealing. The stone patio is surrounded by a colorful collection of native plants that were selected due to their low maintenance and environmentally friendly benefits. These included flowering perennials, beautiful shrubs, and ornamental grasses that created an engaging landscape throughout the year. One of the s challenges involved designing within the sloped topography so common in North Bergen. Our experienced team designed tiered beds within the sloping edge of the garden to not only add interest, but also allow for adequate drainage and soil erosion. This allowed us to improve the functionality of the space as well, while introducing layers of beauty with large boulders and decorative gravel pathways. Lastly, we integrated ambient lighting features into the that illuminated the landscape at night. Our clients can now enjoy their outdoor space long after sundown. Overall, the has developed into an outdoor space that showcases the clients vision while enhancing the overall aesthetic of the neighboring properties. Ultimately, North Bergen Beauty was a satisfactory outcome for our clients, who now have a beautiful landscape that serves as an extension of their home, as well as, provides a gathering space for their friends and family.
