About This Project

Suburban Delight 'Suburban Delight' is a landmark that redefined outdoor living in Guttenberg, NJ, with completion and installation to Hufnagel Landscape Design & Construction Group. This is a complete landscaping overhaul, including native plants, an array of stunning hardscaping and staged outdoor living spaces. The design included a robust mixture of shrubs, ornamental trees and perennials that survive and flourish seasonally! The high-quality materials, including stone pavers from a local source, to create pathways and an ample-sized patio for entertaining. Additionally, a custom-curated pergola was provided for shade and elegance, providing a focal point to the private backyard while blending with the surrounding landscape. One of the challenges to the was the sloping nature of the property that needed to mitigate water pooling. Our team did a fabulous job grading the land and installing a French drain system so that the best solution for optimal water flow and the landscaping could carry on in the future. The results were a magnificent retreat far beyond our client’s expectations! We also provided functional design and aesthetics for the new suburban living space for hosting family and friends, allowing our clients to feel connected to nature. Hufnagel Landscape Design & Construction Group is proud of both the value it added to the property, and as importantly, the enjoyment it offered its owners based on suburban living.
