Monte Vista by Leifeste Landscape Design Located in the lushly treed neighborhood of Monte Vista, San Antonio, the Monte Vista beautifully illustrates the artistry and craftsmanship of Leifeste Landscape Design. Serving the elegant neighborhoods of Alamo Heights, Balcones Heights, Castle Hills, and beyond, our office worked with the homeowner to transform their residential property into a stunning outdoor space that combines function and nature. The began with a thorough site analysis to assess the unique topography and microclimates present in the neighborhood before we arrived at the design solutions we chose to incorporate into our designs. We passionately chose drought resistant native plants for the site, such as Texas sage and red yucca, in order to provide splashes of color for boredom, while increasing sustainable design practices. We built a gorgeous flagstone patio out of local flagstone that created a perfect space for family gatherings and outdoor entertaining, a common experience for this client's family. To boost curb appeal in the property, our team created a tiered garden packed with flowering perennials and ornamental grasses of various colors and textures that would blossom in time. We included a custom cedar pergola that not only framed the view of the beautifully curated landscape, but provided shaded space to escape the summer sun. With the uneven grading slopes present in this zone of our beautiful town came many challenges with proper drainage and aesthetic beauty while maintaining an aesthetic garden bed. The skilled experience of our team could not have given anyone any other impression. As the concluded after the design concepts were well executed, our finished concept was nothing short of breathtaking. The homeowners were more than pleased at the creation that was finished above their expectations, and created a tranquil outdoor space for their family lifestyle that culminated in great experiences.
