Corona Ave by Leifeste Landscape Design In the center of San Antonio, the 'Corona Ave' landscape by Leifeste Landscape Design exemplifies our quality and creativity. This fully-completed, extensive incorporated numerous elements that beautifully fused form and function. The process began with a complex drawing plan, incorporating a beautiful collection of native plants, so we could emphasize sustainability and seasonality while ensuring that everything we planted was both airline-friendly and thrived in this climate. We specifically selected drought-resistant flowering species like Texas sage and blackfoot daisy to reduce water consumption. A winding flagstone path encouraged guests to wander through lush garden beds dressed in a mixture of ornamental grasses and flowering perennials. One specific challenge we faced was the steep nature of the property. The landscaping team got creative and worked with the property’s steep slope to simultaneously facilitate drainage and soil stability. Terraced garden beds created mainly consisting of large limestone boulders sourced locally aesthetically anchored the overall site and achieved acceptable drainage. This feature not only looked great, but also managed water runoff and protected the garden from erosion, ensuring its longevity. We executed an additional wonderful outdoor living space by creating and installing a custom, homeowner-designed pergola. The pergola aided in providing shade and comfort for family gatherings by providing warmth, ambiance, and comfort. The pergola also created a sense of tranquility, featuring softly illuminated lights and meaningful seating areas placed strategically across the surface of decorative mulch and plants. The end result realized our client’s dreams and expectations. Their outdoor area was transformed into a peaceful retreat. The combination of thoughtful design, materials of good quality, and craftsperson-level workmanship combined create all lasting beautification since the work explores humanity in landscape and the work of Leifeste Landscape Design.
