Cordy Residence : Hampton Park Neighborhood

Cordy Residence - Hampton Park Community Serenoa Landscape Design is excited to present the Cordy Residence, an amazing transformation in the heart of the Hampton Park Community. Serving the greater Jacksonville area, including Atlantic Beach and Ponte Vedra, the company was engaged in creating an outdoor living space that would encourage and provide privacy, while offering the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The started with a complete site analysis to assess the site constraints of the slope and existing vegetation. Our designers proposed a tiered landscape plan that included the use of natural stone retaining walls for function and aesthetic appeal. Including high-quality materials such as coquina stone, pavers, and locally sourced materials, we established pathways and an open patio space for casual entertainment. Central to our design was the use of a water feature. A custom water pond and waterfall becomes the centerpiece of the space that draws the eye and provides a tranquil nature sound. Surrounded around the water feature was an elevated selection of planting materials, including a mixture of flowering native perennials growing in ornamental grass that creates a vertical component to the design and provides color throughout the seasons, while providing low maintenance needs (great for the family to take care of). As a component of improving the functionality of the space we created an irrigation system that would promote water use efficiency, as well as included a landscape lighting system designed to improve the beauty of the landscape by night. The implementation was timely as there were some limits of access to the property depending on the weather. The outcome is a beautiful landscape that meets the needs of the family to relax and enjoy time outside, while also improving the overall look of the Hampton Park Community. The recipient was highly pleased with the craftsmanship of the , as it met the goals of the to make the Cordy Residence a reality for the family to enjoy for years to come.
