The involved a complete renovation of the landscape to include aesthetics while enhancing functions. The clients requested a calming outdoor space that suited their coastal residence that would also be inviting for family gatherings and relaxation. We started the initial phase with a landscape design plan that incorporated native plants into the design to ensure sustainability and low maintenance. Our landscape design team ultimately selected luxurious ferns, numerous flowering shrubs with vibrant colors, and hardy ornamental grass groupings for their lushness and colorful backdrops to the home. A prominent feature of this was a custom-designed paver patio for entertaining. Thoughtful care in material selection was made to include high-quality and climate-friendly materials, which enhanced the coastal experience while addressing material level and sustainability. The patio arranged in a cohesive manner was designed to flow from the patio into the neighboring garden and thus assures a seamless outdoor living space. This site offered the challenge of elevated terrain and slopes; we utilized ingenious methods to address the need for drainage and stability plantings. Our team of experts developed terracing designs with natural stone retaining walls, which provided a beautiful looking landscape that dealt with the drainage issues effectively, again enhancing the outdoor garden experience. The result is a beautiful garden, with numerous textures and colors that welcomes wildlife and provides a pleasant space for relaxation. The clients were extremely pleased with the outcome of the and expressed how the landscape matched their dreams of a peaceful coastal oasis.
