Located in the heart of Escondido, this has an outdoor space that is ideal for both aesthetics and functionality! The main feature of this makeover is a beautiful Trex composite deck, which is not only durable but also low maintenance. This sustainable material looks great and is resistant to the elements, which is important in San Diego. The deck has that natural wood look, warm toned and smooth finish, along with the tasteful addition of aluminum railings for safety without obstructing the scenery. We took it a step further and added built-in LED lighting to shine on the contour of the deck at night, making the outdoor space feel warm and inviting. We used lush landscaping of plants that flourish in our climate, with drought-resistant characteristics for colorful year-round appearance while using minimal water surrounding the deck. The uneven nature of the property itself presented a bit of a challenge for this as well. We have a highly competent team that tackled this challenge with a multi-level design solution, enhancing both the efficiency of using the space, as well as adding some interest to the visual experience. You end up with the perfect outdoor space that transitions from the house and into the manicured yard. Our client was thrilled with the end result and now has the ultimate in outdoor entertaining space, family gatherings and star gazing at night.
