HOME ADDITION by BNC BUILDERS INC. Credits All photos by Ryan Smith We are proud to present the 'HOME ADDITION' completed in the heart of San Diego by BNC BUILDERS INC. Our team of design experts readily took on this challenge, serving the diverse communities of Escondido, Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, and beyond! The involved a very large outdoor living space that connected with the existing architecture seamlessly. One major feature was a custom paver patio in natural stone pavers that provides a fantastic durable outdoor surface but looks beautiful. We selected drought-tolerant plants, and the landscaping team was smart enough to use many native species that looked great but were also sustainable. The centerpiece was a stunning water feature, with a murmur pouring from a waterfall, which was visually soothing, but also created a social space, where one could sit on the ledge and converse. During all of this we encountered challenges like previous uneven areas and existing drainage problems. Using advanced grading techniques our team incorporated a complete drainage system for water management to protect the new landscape contours. What resulted was an outdoor oasis that met the specifications of the initial client and more. The 'HOME ADDITION' is proof of BNC BUILDERS INC.'s commitment to quality and client satisfaction with its functional and inviting design. The happy homeowners have been enjoying their extended area for family gatherings or cool evenings watching the stars, making memories in this newly designed, beautiful oasis.
