Central Phoenix III Merit Landworks Introducing the 'Central Phoenix III' a Phoenix landscaping transformation | Merit Landworks It is a testament to our dedication to providing tailored quality and innovation aligned to the individual needs of our customers. The Central Phoenix III includes more than 2,500 square feet of a native desert plants and an array of flowering species selected specifically for the Arizona environment. Sustainable materials; for instance, flagstone and decomposed granite for pathways were obtained onsite which are environmentally friendly, durable, and as this location gets hot, protects from the heat that may damage roots. The monsoon season came with its own set of challenges and towards the end of the development, we experienced extensive rainfall that caused the loose, uneven top soil to wash away everywhere, this meant the site needed expert grading and drainage solutions to stop the water from pooling around the apartments. To overcome this challenge, we built a custom drainage system that blended into the landscape well enough to not only protect the building itself but the beauty and character of it. At the center of this special is a stunning, three tier stone patio, providing an open and welcoming space for family and friends to mingle. The unit is surrounded by a premier fire pit, ideal for night time gatherings beneath the shining stars. We designed lush, multi layered garden beds around the patio to provide visual interest as well as habitat for local fauna. The end product of Central Phoenix III is an inspiring design that is both of its place, in the awe-inspiring context of Arizona, but also serves a functional purpose as an outdoor oasis. Our client was very happy with the results and the integration of natural materials with the contemporary architecture.
