About This Project

Total Garden Makeover Johns Island At Linda Greenberg Landscape & Design, LLC, we strive to create beautiful outdoor spaces that represent the dreams of our homeowners and add value to their properties. Our latest , the "Total Garden Makeover" on Johns Island, demonstrates our commitment to quality and creativity in the landscape field. This , which consisted of a total transformation of the backyard, took an area that was previously underutilized and turned it into an outdoor sanctuary. Our team overcame the challenges of building on sloped land, proper drainage consideration, and easy access. To address the slope issue, we designed a three-tiered garden using locally sourced stone retaining walls. These structural elements added stabilization to the back yard while introducing a rustic look to the landscape design. The garden features vibrantly colored flowering plants, resilient native plants, and ornamental grasses that were chosen for both aesthetics and openness. We also installed a professional irrigation system to support the new plants while minimizing water usage. The highlight of the garden is the custom, bluestone patio which will be a terrific gathering point, and a fire pit with cozy chairs for night times outdoor activities. Along the way, we experienced challenges overcoming existing tree roots and ensuring adequate sunlight on the newly planted areas. All the challenges were designed and planned to provide a beautiful garden that would mature and flourish season after season. In closing, we essentially built a beautiful outdoor oasis that has changed the property to a full functioning, beautiful area to invest time with friends and family. The clients were delighted with the new layout of the garden and commented that it was better than they expected while blending with the existing beauty of Johns Island.
