About This Project

New Landscape - Kiawah River The New Landscape at Kiawah River has been completed, as Linda Greenberg Landscape & Design, LLC is an illustration of our design, quality, and creativity in landscaping. The property is beautifully located in Kiawah Island, which is intended to blend with beautiful natural surroundings while making an ornamental contribution to the property itself. Our design team customized a lush layered garden, accentuating both native plants, and foliage while considering sustainability and low maintenance. The design also contained a plethora of layers and textures, with clean color combinations from perennials, stunning ornamental grasses, and enhanced evergreen shrubs which provided four season interest. In addition to these, we used local stone for pathways, and retaining walls which added a rustic charm, and blended into the existing landscape. One of the challenges of this property was the unique grading of the site combined with rigorous drainage considerations. Our talented design staff provided us with a grading solution that accomplished adequate water dispersion, while still allowing the plant life to be healthy. We also installed a stunning water feature that provided a focal point in the garden and utilized water to attract local wildlife. The outcome is that a proud outdoor retreat is now enjoyed by our clients. The depth of outdoor seating areas, floral arrangements, and careful selections of materials help intervention of the landscape, as well as present space for fun, relaxation, and enjoyment for family and friends.
