About This Project

Trailwood (Design by Ventures Design) Situated in central Michigan and surrounded by stunning scenery, our ‘Trailwood’ is a showcase of skill and quality from Ventures Design. Within some affluent neighborhoods and areas of Beverly Hills, Birmingham, and West Bloomfield, the was an excellent example of transforming a backyard into an outdoor oasis. Trailwood’s landscape is a mix of native plants with some contemporary hardscaping, including a carefully curated path that weaves through lush gardens of bright perennials and ornamental grasses. We installed quality pavers and large natural boulders for a strong and inviting, yet pleasing path that encourages enjoyment and connection with nature. The most difficult aspect of the was addressing the hilly landscape, along with drainage issues; however, we were able to level the ground, and install a long-term drainage solution on the for a livable landscape. The resulting landscape is a stunning outdoor retreat with a relaxing water feature, serving as a gathering place for local wildlife and enjoyment and tranquility for the homeowners. The colorful and carefully curated plants echo this sentiment, as they provide beauty and stress resistance for years to come! The icon, style, and detail of the Trailwood showcases all of the quality and skill of Ventures Design. The pleased home owners look out into a dreamy yard that fits their lifestyle perfectly! ‘Trailwood’ is another incredible added to our resumes of perfectly executed landscape design!
