About This Project

Ridgewood by Ventures Design We are pleased to introduce the Ridgewood by Ventures Design, a stunning transformation of a residential landscape located in beautiful Bloomfield Hills. This property was part of a comprehensive landscaping , and is reflective of Ventures Design's commitment to quality and excellence, but also demonstrates our ability to serve an affluent customer in our vast service area, inclusive of Beverly Hills, Birmingham, and West Bloomfield. What was unique Ridgewood was all of the challenges associated with the site including sloped topography, as well as certain areas of limited sun exposure throughout the backyard. Our experienced landscapers pushed through these obstacles, and created tiered planting beds that provided more depth to the view, and ensured proper drainage to maintain the plant life. A stunning native perennial and ornamental shrub palette that promote ecological-, mechanistic-, and aesthetic sustainability were installed by our team that also built on the premise of complimenting the home's natural beauty. Elegant bluestone pathways were incorporated to pull together the garden and yard, and the colors of the foliage contrasted fantastically with the pathways and helped guide a visitor through a deep expanse of greenery, while providing an aesthetic pathway as well. Many homeowners seek the tranquility of nature, and one of the major highlights of this was the waterfeature with a waterfall and koi pond, for example, amongst the various plantings. Much of the installation process showcased senses of nature and reflected the homeowners' concept, and provided space for local wildlife. The final result at Ridgewood left the homeowners with a view that both reflects their vision, and exceeded their expectations, while showcasing thorough quality attention to detail in workmanship, and the use of high quality materials. This was well received, and has deepened our reputation of providing exceptional landscaping services in the region.
