Pheasants Ridge by KGK Gardening & Design Corp Located in scenic Hudson, the 'Pheasants Ridge' showcases the artistry of workmanship delivered by KGK Gardening & Design Corp. This expansive landscaping was designed to convert a sprawling residential property into a restful outdoor retreat that blends the natural environment while incorporating modern features. The included many thoughtfully designed features, including a custom stone patio, constructed out of locally-sourced bluestone, that creates an outdoor living space that is both functional and beautiful. Surrounding the patio, the expertly designed perennial gardens burst with color that are easily enjoyed due to the native characteristics that promote wildlife in addition to beauty. A water feature creates polyester a soft sound from a gentle stream and pond creating a soothing space, allowing the homeowner to connect with the natural environment. One of the challenges of the Pheasants Ridge included uneven terrain and would require careful grading techniques to provide proper drainage while maintaining the natural slope. The scope of grading tasks was executed by the skilled team at KGK that used top-quality materials such as erosion control fabrics and natural stone retaining walls as erosion and durability were a focus of the design. The final product pleased the homeowner who can now enjoy landscaping that is a pleasing result and only enhances the value of the property. Functional outdoor spaces, thriving gardens and water feature create a restful space for entertaining and relaxation.
