Summary: Brick Colonial by KGK Gardening & Design Corp Deep in a lovely neighborhood, the 'Brick Colonial' landscaping by KGK Gardening & Design Corp is a beautiful example of outdoor design. Serving the communities of Akron, Aurora, Bainbridge, and beyond, we turned this home into an inviting harmonious refuge. This consisted of a front and back yard that we remodeled combining traditional and modern landscaping. We used locally produced, durable brick pavers to build a beautiful entryway leading to the grand front entrance, with elegant flower beds filled with various perennials and ornamental grasses that will keep the area looking great year-round. The sloping nature of the yard was a challenge we faced on the , but we solved it with tiered retaining walls from natural stone that were beautiful and added usability. The stone walls created more depth in the landscape and allowed for additional planting areas for color throughout the seasons. We added to the outdoor experience with a custom stone patio and fire pit for family and guest entertaining and gatherings. Surrounding the outdoor space, we planted fragrant shrubs and trees for privacy and added texture and color. The outcome was an amazing outdoor retreat that captured the architecture of the home and pleased the clients with its beauty and usability.
