Summary: Arden Blvd, Hancock Park Weeds Garden Design Build LLC is happy to share the remarkable transformation of the Arden Blvd residence, located in the historic enclave of Hancock Park, well-known for its prestige and rich plant material. This represented our dedication to quality and creativity, transforming a mundane garden into an exotic outdoor retreat. Our team was tasked with the unique challenge of redesigning an outdated landscape while being respectful to the classic architecture of the property. To do this, we needed to clear the entire space of overgrown shrubs and outmoded elements which gave us a blank canvas to develop new design possibilities. While planning compass was key, the design considers native drought-tolerant plant species instilling long-term sustainability. The garden showcases vibrant, well-planned flower beds including beautiful bougainvillea, enchanting lavender, and resilient succulents which can handle an erratic, dry climate of Southern California. Each visitor is welcomed to engage in the garden through an elegant stone pathway paved with sandstone, located conveniently in the neighborhood. Custom trellises give vertical elements, functionality, and support for flowering vines to share the space. Our landscape architects overcame limited sunlight in some places by teaching trees which offer shade but function to frame the property. The ultimate addition of a water feature in the designa modern fountainwas included to offer a sense of tranquility by providing a relaxing, calming effect an ambiance that our client absolutely loved. The end result is a blend of elegance and honesty that honors the rich historic essence of Hancock Park. The total work left our clients with excitement expressing their happiness with our commitment to detail and ease of connecting vines and hardscape with softscape in a successful design.
