Pool Undo by David J Frank Landscape Contracting Inc Located in Milwaukee, 'Pool Undo' was a that took a neglected backyard area and created a beautiful space for outdoor living. David J Frank Landscape Contracting Inc, designed the space both around the swimming pool that was no longer used and the waste that had been created when the pool was originally built and installed. It was a complete redesign of yard space with hardscaping and landscape design elements. Locally sourced, durable flagstone was installed to make a beautiful patio area that melded with seating and entertaining areas. Several native plants were chosen for their ability to thrive in the setting and provide year-round color and texture. The plants chosen were virtually maintenance-free, but filled with ornamental grasses, blooming perennials, and colorful flowering shrubs. A major challenge was the existing pool structure. The pool needed to be removed without disrupting the landscape. Our highly skilled labor force did some innovative work removing the pool, so as to keep the rest of the yard in tact. We also leveled their space to fix drainage issues and reduce the chances of future problems in the yard. The results for 'Pool Undo' were stunning. The backyard was transformed into a relaxing garden with a fire pit to share for the evenings and create a path with perspective to provide a comfortable access point. The client was extremely happy and impressed with the quality and detail of the work. Not only did we elevate their property, but it also provided added value for a new focus of family gatherings for outdoor entertainment.
