About This Project

Synopsis: Urban Oasis Hufnagel Landscape Design & Construction Group is excited to introduce 'Urban Oasis', a revitalizing landscape that revolutionizes outdoor living in urban environments. This modern urban retreat was designed to bring a calm respite away from the intercity hustle and bustle while providing harmonious functionality and beauty. This features an intentional layout of different native plant gardens, a peaceful water feature, and a multi-level patio of sustainably sourced bluestone. To provide the finishing touch and continue the good vibes throughout the space, the patio has soft LED lighting situated throughout the walkways as well as highlighting special features to allow the space to be enjoyed at night. One of the most significant challenges for us was the typical limited space of urban areas. Our team was very effective at maximizing the space with vertical gardens and planters scattered throughout to complement the limited footprint of traditional gardens so green space could expand not overwhelm. Permeable pavers were added for visual interest and to address drainage concerns for sustainable and environmentally friendly gardening. The end result is a modern design with natural beauty that made the area appealing for resting, relaxation, and collecting as a social space. The client could not have been happier with the transformation had multiple conversations how much they enjoyed their Urban Oasis.
