Summary: Northville Custom Build Home Great Oaks Landscape Associates Inc. is excited to share the 'Northville Custom Build Home' , an illustration of our high standards in landscaping design and installation. Located in Northville, it demonstrates our passion for elevating homes through detail and quality. For this beautiful custom build, we created a seamless outdoor experience that extended the beauty of the client's sophisticated home. The landscape used a variety of native plants for sustainability and beauty year around, creating an atmosphere with wonderful color and texture. A coordinating bluestone walkway, quarried locally, wound through the lush planting with cottage gardens featured now and throughout the seasons. Another focal point of this is the custom water feature designed to be a focal point and relaxing area. The serene water pond as designed, flows from the waterfall, utilizing natural boulders and reinforced liners to secure the feature and for easy of home integration. The contours of the yard were sloped and were converted to a grade that created tiered beds to add great feature and aid erosion. The home also features a large entertaining area with custom built pergola and stone walking. Designed to coordinate with the buildings materials, the gathering space is complete with composite decking and LED lights, creating a warm gathering space throughout the evening. Through communication, we were able to achieve everything that met the client's expectations to comply the entire landscape with their goals. Overall the finished the product was beautiful and breathtaking, functional for the home, and the clients were elated with their new outdoor space!
