The converted a mid-block bland yard into a glorious outdoor room hitting all of the right architectural points in the hub of the communities of Dacono, Erie, Firestone, Frederick, Lafayette, Longmont, Mead, Niwot, Boulder, Louisville, Superior, Westminster, Thornton and Broomfield. The BRINKS house presented different challenges such as a sloping property and no continuity in design. Our team design a full landscape with a series of level planting beds, a custom stone patio, and a quiet water feature to match the site. We chose premium materials like locally-harvested flagstone, durable composite decking, and Colorado-friendly plants that don’t need much water to survive. We collaborated with the client throughout the to ensure their vision came alive. An elegant pergola was installed to shade the space and act as a focal point, complemented by soft LED lighting around the border of the space to create a relaxing experience in the evenings. Our team of experts tackled various logistical hurdles, including narrow access points as well as differing soil characteristics, using creative approaches that preserved the existing landscape. The end-product, a harmonious and inviting space that balances function and form. The BRINKS family now has a garden filled with annuals and perennials showcasing seasonal blooms, a low maintenance garden, a patio that can accommodate outdoor entertaining and a place to rest and rejuvenate.
