### Press 2024 'Press 2024,' a recent landscaping completed by Linda Greenberg Landscape & Design, LLC, is a transformation that integrates nature and contemporary living in Charleston and the surrounding areas, including Daniel Island and Isle of Palms. The includes a combination of native plants and integrated hardscaping, using permeable pavers and natural stone paths to add curb appeal to the property while also being environmentally sustainable. We chose a variety of drought tolerant plants to ensure a vibrant garden that thrives in the regional climate. These plantings included striking ornamental grasses, perennials of all colors placed for seasonal interest, and we ensured point-of-view to admire the landscape from inside the house. One of the more demanding methods was to transform the landscape design to the unique topography of the site. This transformation required innovative thinking when it came to drainage and soil stabilization. We were able to overcome this by installing a rain garden in order to capture runoff and create a space that incorporated biodiversity, while still addressing these issues and creating a beautiful landscape oasis. The end result is a wonderful outdoor space that satisfies the client's vision while also creating a retreat for family gatherings or relaxing.
