Focused on the booming neighborhoods of Aurora, Naperville, Glen Ellyn, and so many other towns that call this region home, our crew was challenged to implement a more updated, practical space that naturally flows into how the homeowners live. This features a large patio built with high-quality porcelain pavers that we installed for the client who appreciates the strengthen and beauty of the material. A neutral color palette both adds to the contemporary nature while also being sensitive to the landscape. To relieve the hard edges we surrounded it with plantings of ornamental grasses and flowering perennials which adds natural color and softer contrast to the hardscape. The biggest obstacle we had to conquer was the slope of the back yard. Our experienced team designed this space with many levels, using natural stone retaining walls to not only hold the slope in place, but also create a beautiful feature. This portion separates dining and lounging spaces, creating a warm environment for hanging out. It is a stunning outdoor oasis that includes a built-in fire pit with seating around it for relaxing at night. The ambience lights allow the space to be utilized after dark by turning the patio into an atmospheric space for a party. In this way, our happy clients now have an elegant outdoor sanctuary that is as stylish as it is valuable to the house.
