Carl and Anne Bruss established Bruss Landscaping, Inc. in 1952 with the initial concept of a nursery and retail garden center. Fast forward many years as the business grew, Bob and Bill Bruss became the second generation owners of the business and started doing residential landscape design and installation work for their clients. The original location closed in 1987 to allow for the construction of I-355, moving to its current office in Wheaton, Illinois while establishing a 10 acre nursery and production facility in West Chicago, Illinois. In 1993 Eric Bruss became the third generation to operate the landscaping company and build upon the family legacy of quality and service. In 2022, the company was acquired by Fairwood Brands, a nationwide family of companies dedicated to building and sustaining luxury outdoor living spaces. The Bruss team is now comprised of experienced Landscape Architects and Designers who are 100% devoted to residential landscape design and landscape services. The company has dedicated craftsmen that takes pride in the creativity and quality of their work.
