About This Project

Wampler's Lake Vista TERRAFIRMA Landscape is pleased to introduce the ‘Wampler's Lake Vista’ . This comprehensive landscaping includes an aesthetic improvement along the shores of Wampler’s Lake. The complete landscaping transformation improved not only the aesthetics of the property but its function and environmental capability. Our professional team designed a multi-layered landscape and seamlessly integrated native plantings, durable stone pathways, and inviting outdoor living spaces. High-quality, locally sourced materials were used to create naturally occurring stone retaining walls which successfully remedied erosion while enhancing the property's beauty and providing a visual focal point. A custom flagstone trail was built through the gardens, which meanders through diverse habitats, including vibrant perennials that bloom a spectrum of colors throughout the seasons, ornamental grasses, and lush gardens. One of the major challenges of the design was crafting functional space and drainage on sloping terrain while managing water run-off to prevent water pooling in front of the lakefront. Our team designed and engineered an innovative drainage system that included French drains and rain gardens that formed a flow-through process for water run-off and added ecological value, wildlife, and pollinator habitat. The ultimate product is a stunning lakeside retreat that balanced beauty with sustainability. From the cozy fire pit as a social area to the built-in seating spaces, all spaces identified the client’s dream of relaxing lakefront landscape. Above all else, the integrated signals the signature beauty of the hardscape counterparts while reinstating the client's commitment to sustainable practices.
