The balances a modern design with the natural beauty of the environment that it occupies, providing a wonderful getaway for relaxation and recreation. The included a detailed tiered patio of natural stone, beautifully sitting with the contours of the lakefront. The patio is a perfect spot for gatherings, including a custom fire pit adjacent to weather resistant seating that were perfect for evenings spent with family and friends. Native plantings of ornamental grasses and flowering perennials were selected based upon climate resilience and by utilizing native material to promote wildlife and natural environments at the lakefront. One of the challenges experienced was the steep elevation changes of the site. The team of first-rate designers engineered a series of retaining walls to create useable outdoor spaces while addressing drainage issues and adding aesthetic height changes at the lakefront. Transpiring water is an essential practice for any sustainable property, for this permeable pavers were installed throughout the as pathways. The resulting landscape is beautiful, modern, and carefully designed functional spaces that clients loved. The landscapes now transports users to another place, and draws the view to the lake.
