In our first discussion with the client, we recognized the need for a reliable drainage system, increased curb appeal, and a unified design that complemented the rest of the existing architecture. One challenge presented to us was an uneven terrain alongside limited sunlight in some areas of the property; each issue required us to be creative. Ultimately, after all the planning was done, we came up with a palette of native plants, drought-tolerant perennials, and ornamental shrubs to achieve a rich landscape that would be sustainable and continue to thrive year-round. Notable features of the design included a beautiful natural stone pathway leading visitors through a stunning garden full of glowing flowers, strategic boulders positioned as usable seating areas and landscape features, and custom raised garden beds built from reclaimed wood that would add rustic warmth while encouraging sustainable gardening practices. An additional feature was a calming waterfall feature that emptied softly into a koi pond, which heightened the auditory experience of the landscape and attracted wildlife activity to the landscape. Quality was our intention; we used durable products such as locally sourced stone and eco-friendly soil amendments that would last and last. Our craftsmen experienced some rain delays, but they paid attention to some awfully minor , and the was completed on time and within the client's budget. In the end, the homeowner was pleasantly surprised with the outcometo achieve a beautiful and usable landscape for them to enjoy. A fully functional space is livable both in and outside.
