San Carlos Contemporary Patio & Kitchen Kristen Rudger Landscape Design is thrilled to showcase the 'San Carlos Contemporary Patio and Kitchen,' a evidently melding aesthetic and functional modern outdoor living. At the San Carlos site, we're delighted to display our commitment to craft and creativity. This features a lovely patio area, finished with large-format porcelain tiles that extend the home's contemporary touches to the exterior space. The tiles provide not only a solid surface but also withstand the outdoor elements. Rentention walls purposed of natural stone serves to create harmony to the landscape, while providing support and structure, and creates a functional outdoor kitchen area that guests can entertained to- featuring a grill, serving counter, with built-in storage and granite surfaces. In consideration of the lesser challenge of the sites slope terrain, we provided improvements through a tiered design that improves visual complexity and created distinct areas for dining, lounging, and cooking. In coordination to lessen visual lines of modern, we provided a lush planting palette- featured both flowering shrubs and ornamental grasses that are low maintenance- for adding texture and seasonal color. A water efficient irrigation system was integrated for healthy plant maintenance and alignment to our sustainability goals. The outcome is an elegant outdoor extension that meets the client's functional needs and makes outdoor living and entertaining accessible. The clients loved the design, not only seeing the patio and kitchen working together, but alsoseeing the humbly elegant function, look, and feel of the design and space. This illustrates the commitment of Kristen Rudger Landscape Design to creating beautiful and lasting spaces and ensuring that s meet our clients' needs and expectations from both a functional and aesthetic point of view.
