Mitti By Sweet Smiling Landscapes Located in beautiful Montecito, the 'Mitti' by Sweet Smiling Landscapes integrates art and environmental design for a wonderful outdoor transformation from a garden to a magical outdoor living space. We serve Goleta, Mission Canyon, Santa Barbara, Summerland, Toro Canyon, Ojai, and Ventura along the beautiful coast of California and embraced the work with care and passion. The began with a site assessment which allowed us to customize our design to map the unique topography and climate. To be sustainable and promote local ecology, we selected native drought tolerant plants. Using local stone evokes proximity and skillfully integrates the landscape with the environment with natural pathways and seating areas. One of the challenges we had to navigate included uneven area. Our team skillfully engineered terraced raised garden beds to create visual depth and interest and good drainage. This wondeful design enabled everyone to have good access and added layering and depth to the landscape. The end result is a lush dynamic garden filled with color, greenery, and spaces for people to enjoy. We even created a lovely natural stone patio patio area for outdoor enjoyment, and included a serene water feature for sound and a natural gathering point, working in harmony with leaves rustling and chirping birds. As with all our work, and mostly importantly, our client's happiness and joy of our work was the most exciting rewarding part of the . The 'Mitti' is a great example of Sweet Smiling Landscapes meaningful dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and respect for nature in all the planning, design and construction.
