This beautiful landscape creation was build to perfection by Roy Altaras Landscape Design and Build, serving the Los Angeles area and all surrounding neighborhoods in the greater Los Angeles area such as Bel Air, Brentwood, and Hollywood Hills. The is completed with the signature corten steel, which provides a modern edge to the landscape while blending beautifully with a plethora of green. These eye-catching rust-colored elements are strategically designed to draw attention; however, they also function as raised planters to bring depth and interest to the garden as well. Corten steel is complemented beautifully against all of the vegetation, creating a contrast of texture. A realization challenge of the included integrating the steel elements into an existing slope in the terrain. Masterfully, the team engineered terraced levels which assisted with the integration of varying native color and drought-tolerant plants (to enhance sustainability and further reduce water usage). The planted material will continue to evolve in the Southern California climate while utilizing the prominence of low maintenance plants that keep the garden looking beautiful for the homeowner. To compliment the corten steel, a custom-designed pathway integrated with natural stone pavers span the length of the landscape and give the guests the ability to meander through the landscape comfortably. Careful consideration was also given to install ambient lighting to showcase the pathways and the steel accents that warm the conceptual design of the for evening gatherings (when the guests can enjoy the beautiful lighting).
