The Waterfront Resort project, situated along the picturesque Spokane River in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, embodies a comprehensive landscape design and construction transformation that enhances both beauty and functionality. The project features a lush new lawn, expertly installed alongside a state-of-the-art irrigation system that ensures the landscape remains vibrant and healthy throughout the seasons. Central to the design is a stunning water feature that provides a soothing auditory backdrop, harmonizing with the natural flow of the river. A beautifully constructed gas fire pit offers a cozy gathering spot, perfect for evening relaxation or entertaining friends and family under the stars. The addition of a soft sand beach area enriches the waterfront experience, allowing for playful days by the water while being thoughtfully protected from the springtime river flow by a natural basalt retaining wall, which not only serves a practical purpose but also adds a rustic charm to the overall aesthetic. The design prioritizes unobstructed views of the waterfront, ensuring that the beauty of the river can be appreciated from every corner of the yard and from within the home itself. To enhance the visual connection between the landscape and the beach, we selected white decorative stone that complements the sandy beach while providing a clean and elegant contrast to the lush greenery of the lawn. The use of light-toned rock mulch further emphasizes this cohesion, seamlessly blending with the sandy beach and enhancing the overall visual appeal of the outdoor space.
