Sammamish Family Fun Alderwood Landscape Architecture and Construction is thrilled to announce the completion of the 'Sammamish Family Fun' , an inspiring outdoor space development that embodies the principles of fun, play, and family interaction in the natural landscape. Located in Sammamish, this family-focused brings together outdoor living and a connection with nature and recreation. Our team created a backyard oasis for the family that features a large, custom-designed deck to gather friends and family during the summer months for gatherings and cookouts. We specified sustainably-harvested, high-quality cedar wood for the overall look and weather-resistant durability. The large lawn area is designed using a blended mixture of drought-resistant grass that grows well in the Pacific Northwest climate to maintain a beautiful garden through summer and winter. To enhance the outdoor experience, a vibrant fire-pit area was designed as a gathering area, and we designed comfortable seating all around the fire pit with surrounding natural stone pavers echoing the local geologic stone. The family enjoys gathering around the fire pit to share stories and roast marshmallows during the cooler evenings. Also, flowerbeds with native plants support wildlife and add to the visual appeal of this design that highlights Alderwood Landscape Architecture and Construction's commitment to sustainable landscaping. During construction, we faced challenges, including existing tree roots and uneven terrain for installation. These challenges evolved into creative engineering opportunities that were implemented with a high-quality masonry installation. Overall, this turned out as a stunning outdoor venue for the family to enjoy and create memories for years to come! The 'Sammamish Family Fun' serves as a testament to Alderwood Landscape Architecture and Construction's quality, creativity, and commitment to client satisfaction.
