About This Project

Preston Hollow Residence LandPatterns, Inc. is excited to share the Preston Hollow Residence - a premier landscape that represents the best of the quality and creativity we seek to offer our clients. Located in the heart of one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Dallas, our partnership with our clients turned a standard yard into a beautiful outdoor living area. The design incorporates a collection of native Texas plants including beautiful wildflowers and drought tolerant shrubs to create a sustainable landscape that adds functionality to the ecosystem. A custom, locally sourced limestone stone path leads visitors through the lush landscape connecting the various outdoor living sites. The gravel path is edged in a beautiful ribbon of flowering perennials and ornamental grasses that gives both texture and color throughout the seasons. One of the biggest challenges encountered on the site was the topographical relief and soil quality. Our skilled labor team was able to ameliorate these obstacles with complex grading and soil amendments to ensure healthy growth of the newly planted landscape. We also installed a water conserving irrigation system to keep the landscape healthy with minimal water use. The centerpiece of the Preston Hollow Residence is an incredible outdoor entertainment area complete with a custom fire pit and seating wall, surrounded by verdant plant life. In addition to visual appeal, the outdoor entertainment area provides functionality for family gatherings and spectacular evenings spent entertaining guests under the night sky. The end result was incredible, and our clients now enjoy a serene and inviting outdoor environment that is both beautiful and functional.
