About This Project

Urban Attitude Randy Thueme Design Inc. - Landscape Architecture is pleased to introduce 'Urban Attitude,' a that redefines how outdoor space can enliven an urban landscape. It is located in the colorful neighborhoods of San Francisco and adjacent communities, and it illustrates our ongoing commitment to quality and distinctive design. At 'Urban Attitude,' we custom-designed a contemporary urban oasis recognizing the need for landscape spaces that work well and don't sacrifice on beauty. The included an assortment of native plants, maximizing the aesthetic quality while contributing to the local biodiversity. A beautiful hardscape developed from unique, sustainable materialssuch as local reclaimed wood and permeable paversgrows enhanced pathways and gathering spaces while assisting in water management. One of our foremost concerns was working with the limited spaces in a dense urban area. Our designs responded by creating vertical gardens and considering multi-level planting beds that anchored green as best possible and still maintain usability. We also designed a serene water feature in order to invite off the street people to sit, listen to the bubbling waterfalls, and generally aid in creating a relaxing environment. The end result is a beautiful balance of nature and urban living, where our clients enjoy a platform that meets their quality of life. The happiness of clients was best expressed by writing how this increase the value of their property while offering a calming piece of nature in an urban network. This is an example of quality practice in landscape architecture by Randy Thueme Design Inc., where considerations on behalf of the community are held from Alameda to Palo Alto, and every community is enhanced artistically and with the environment kept in the utmost respect.
