Fire Pit Seating Area by Green Guru Landscaping Recently, Green Guru Landscaping had the privilege to finish a captivating 'Fire Pit Seating Area' that truly transformed this regular back yard into an amazing outdoor living space in the heart of Summerlin South. The main physical features of the area include a circular fire pit designed with natural stone pavers blending beautifully into the landscape, where the grass and plants surround the built-in paver components. As part of the ambiance, we added custom seating made from re-claimed wood. The woods add balance to the design, are comfortable to sit on, and are also a reuse environmentally friendly feature in the seating plan. The seating allows people to interact comfortably while making sure they can also see each other across the fire pit and enjoy family and friend gatherings or memories while exchanging stories. The finest matter in a like this, and figuring out the best way to design drainage in this area was part of the planning of successful outdoor functional spaces in Vegas. With the local seasons in mind the team designed a system to minimize such as water pooling, while allowing the seating area to be used all year long. A safety consideration was in the built-in fire pit(where the flames are) because we used heat resistant materials to sit around the fire. The final product was the easy blend of nature with beautifully detailed craftsmanship. We also strategically installed lighting into the trees and seating area to create an ambient glow around the seating area, when it is used and valued in the evening. The client was delighted to return to a space that allows for family memories, roasting marshmallows or simply looking up at the stars. Overall, I think shows how the work we put into the and the creativity goes into every we do, be it the community of Enterprise or Henderson or Patterson to Summerlin, Sloan, Spring Valley, Whitney and Winchester.
