Our recent "Clonmel," a new construction in Mount Pleasant, is an example of our dedication to quality and creativity. The called for a full landscape design to soften the modern architecture of the home and create a peaceful transition to the outside. We started by conducting a comprehensive site analysis to determine the optimal layout for the site given the functionality and aesthetics we expressed. The design married local plantings with materials judiciously chosen for the hardscape. The design included beautifully shaped stone paths that meandered between lush and colorful garden beds of flowering plants and ornamental grasses. A custom water feature was an important element in the design, serving both as a focal point and a source of tranquility while attracting wildlife and connection with nature. When it came to the land, this was a sloped site, which created grading and drainage concerns for water runoff and erosion. Our team executed the design and the development, and created tiered garden beds for best planting outcomes while also creating added interest to the property at the same time. The end result was a conclusion of beauty and functionality, with outdoor living space that invites you to linger. A small fire pit was decorated with shrubbery, which was a great place for entertaining guests. Warm lighting was spotlighted throughout the landscape elements and served to illuminate the features of the landscape to give it a magical feel at night. The homeowners were very pleased with our integrated approach, our attention to detail, and how we advanced landscape design and placement around their new home.
