About This Project

Roswell Backyard by SHM Landscape At SHM Landscape, we appreciate that a backyard should be an oasis - a personal getaway that fits every homeowner's style while also flattering the beauty of the natural setting. Our latest renovation, 'Roswell Backyard' reflects that philosophy. Located in central Roswell, this highlights our passion for quality workmanship in a unique design. This renovation began with a comprehensive client consultation to understand what the homeowner wanted and needed to be functional yet beautiful outdoor space. The property challenged us with some grade changes and trees that didn't allow much sunlight. Our design team met those challenges with grading and planning for proper drainage, as well as shade-tolerant plants that would fit the environment. The new design features an amazing multi-leveled bluestone patio, which is both durable and beautiful for entertaining. Next to the patio, we constructed a fire pit with locally sourced boulders to create a spot for family and friends to congregate. To connect all the areas together, we installed a winding pathway full of perennials and grasses to introduce texture and color throughout the seasons. Lastly, we completed the with a premier automatic irrigation system to sustain the landscaping and keep it with minimal maintenance. We installed landscape lighting to enhance the features of the yard, which also added security and can be enjoyed in the evenings. In conclusion, we created a wonderful combination of nature and design where all aspects provide a function while enhancing beauty. The homeowner stated they could not have been happier and had the best backyard ever, providing a place to relax and entertain.
