This was commissioned to showcase the natural beauty of the client's property while creating a functional and sustainable space. The began with an in-depth consultation meeting with the client to better understand the particular vision and ideas that they were looking for. As a team, we identified unique features that would enhance the outside space, including a beautiful multi-tiered garden, a peaceful water feature, and a welcoming patio for entertaining friends and family. We were able to find high-quality, locally-sourced stone for the patio and other aspects of the outdoor space to ensure a durable, long-lasting area that blended naturally into the existing landscape. Sloping and uneven ground made the a challenge, and as a team, we needed to design adding an effective drainage method in case of water collecting on the property, and maintain the functionality and beauty of the space. The crew leveled and graded the landscape while still maintaining the unique shape of the property to ensure that there was no water collecting and consequently creating an effective drainage around the entire property. A unique water feature was the main feature of the , and the final product included an attractive waterfall flowing into a serene pond feature as well. The water feature included beautiful stonework and native plants to enhance the already wonderful feature, and the water feature not only provided a peaceful view and sound, it also added an ecological benefit to biodiversity. The team planted various perennials and shrubs that will provide interest and food for another feature of the property, birds. The perennials were selected for their spectacular blooms profusely in the spring and color of leaves in the fall, creating a functional and beautiful border around the landscape. The last part of the was the installation of landscape lighting so that the client could enjoy the property after sunset and highlight the special features. The outcome of a complete landscape renovation provided the client with a beautiful outdoor space that exceeded their expectations.
