This was a full landscaping renovation that involved a complete redesign of the client’s outdoor space while enhancing both beauty and function. The began with an initial consultation to determine how the client envisioned their outdoor space. The client wanted to incorporate modern elegance with the beauty of nature. Working with the client, we included many native plant species that would provide beauty for many years to come. We developed a colorful palette for perennials and shrubs, including colorful daylilies, hydrangeas, and ornamental grasses that will thrive in the localized growing environment. One of the significant challenges of the Frady was the uneven grass areas that complicated water drainage and irrigation. We developed a drainage and grading plan that ensured proper grading for the water to flow and drain rainfall and sprinkler irrigation without affecting the landscape. We also installed a complete irrigation system that conserves water while keeping the landscape fresh and colorful. Additionally, we incorporated landscape hardscaping, including a concrete patio as an outdoor gathering space with amazing views. The local area supplied flagstone for the patio because it matched the house beautifully while supporting local regions. The patio is accentuated with a dry creek bed, not only adding beauty but also assisting in natural drainage. The final is an outdoor oasis that encapsulates beauty while providing function.
