Landscaping by DiSabatino Landscaping and Tree Care DiSabatino Landscaping and Tree Care recently finished a full landscaping job in the gorgeous community of Wilmington that transformed their suburban yard into a beautiful outdoor living space. We were happy to take on this large endeavor that provided additional curb appeal for this property and worked cohesively with the surroundings of the outdoor space. DiSabatino serves a wide range of areas including Arden, Hockessin, and West Chester. The featured many types of native plants that were considered beforehand for their durability and aesthetic beauty. Multiple styles of perennials, ornamentals grasses, and flowering shrubs were planted, and they will provide a colorful tapestry of flowers throughout the seasons. We utilized locally sourced stone for the pathways and seating areas for an organic feel and durability against the weather. One of the challenges that we dealt with was drainage and the way that it has affected the property in large rainstorms. Our skilled team put in place a growing rain garden system to successfully manage stormwater runoff during large rain events while also adding habitat diversity. This added functionality solved the garden drainage problem and became a unique garden feature that attracted local wildlife. To enhance outdoor living, we created a personalized fire pit area surrounded by boulders to create a comfortable gathering place for friends and family. The addition of landscape lighting with LED lights highlighted the magnificence of the various aspects of the garden so that homeowners could enjoy the outdoor space longer into the evenings. Once the was completed, the homeowners were delighted with the final results. The overall not only enhanced the beauty of their home, but it also provided and met their logistical needs for outdoor space. DiSabatino Landscaping and Tree Care prides itself on providing good quality craftsmanship, but we also look to create landscapes and designs that not only meet but exceed our client’s needs. Overall, creating a final product of place that is a harmony of beauty, function, and sustainability is the best we could ask for in our design.
