Nature One Landscape Design Edging Stone Introducing the 'Edging Stone' one of our latest outdoor improvements from Alabaster, Birmingham and Mountain Brook, where we had the opportunity to completely change the yard of our admirable clients! Nature One Landscape Design It demonstrates our dedication to exceptional design and construction. Our 'Edging Stone' consisted of custom, natural stone edging that contours flower beds and pathways, adding structure to the landscape. The stones we sourced were of the highest quality and were locally sourced because of their beauty and longevity, so each piece would match its environment. However, the biggest challenge was definitely the topography of the site, which did not help to create a flow from one landscape component to another. Our well experienced team dealt this challenge with a terraced edging which showcased not only the natural hues of the garden but also offered drainage that helps in avoiding erosion and holding out the garden beds. Paired with the stone, we also added in native plants and colorful perennials that thrive so well in the Alabama climate, and it looks so lush and inviting! By including this variety, not only do they bring colour into the mix, they also invite local wildlife to flourish, helping maintain biodiversity in the garden as well. Our client was thrilled with the end product: an artfully created natural space that is both a place of repose and a gallery for nature. The 'Edging Stone' is a perfect example of Nature One Landscape Design's commitment to landscape excellence to transform outdoor spaces into beautiful landscapes that connect deeply with our client vision.
