Sleek Contemporary Entertaining Space for Family in Laguna Beach Dale Waldo Landscape Architecture: Based in thebeautiful coastal community of Laguna Beach, Dale Waldo Landscape Architecture is thrilled to present the "Sleek Contemporary Entertaining Space" Designed with modern and lifestyle-focused sophistication, this was intended to draw people together with its natural mood with the Southern California landscape as the backdrop. This had a unique fusion of hardscape and softscape featuring high-end materials like porcelain pavers and natural stone to deliver custom pathways and large patios. Designed to enrich the patio dining and entertaining experience, a customized outdoor kitchen features an upscale appliance suite as well as a chic bar. The entire space was adorned with innovative lighting solutions that accentuated the architectural features and created atmosphere for evening events. Another one of the challenges we faced was the slope of the land, where proper and considerate planning/engineering was required to ensure the slope and the drainage was correct. The terraced landscaping with retaining walls put forth by our team was functional, yet still allowed for a dramatic design. We then chose a drought-tolerant and coastal climate-surviving planting palette refined succulents and grasses, to highlight the modern quality of the dwellings. They add texture and colour, as well as sustainability and lower water usage. The end result is a stunning modern entertaining area that achieves the perfect balance between beauty and practicality whilst making both our clients and new lifestyle happy in the process. The epitomizes Dale Waldo Landscape Architecture's approach to quality work with creative and will stand as a noteworthy feature of the community of Laguna Beach.
