Residential Landscape - Franklin Great Oaks Landscape Associates Inc. is pleased to introduce the Franklin , a remarkable transformation that reflects a dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and beauty in landscaping. Located in the quiet surroundings of Franklin, Michigan, this large residential reflects the balance of nature and design. This 's scope was to completely redesign the front and backyards, incorporating a thoughtfully designed glazing that highlighted the home's architecture. Our team used high-quality, locally sourced materials in a pathway of natural stone, a durable hardwood deck and vibrant, native plants, to create an outdoor haven. One major challenge was the property's hilliness, which required creative grading and drainage solutions and accessibility. Our skillful landscape architects created tiered gardens and placed boulders to not only mitigate some of these challenges, but to serve the space aesthetically. The result is a beautiful retreat that includes a custom-constructed fireplace social area, a nice, large lawn for outdoor entertaining, and beautiful flower beds with a bounty of bloom through the seasons. The homeowner was delighted with the work and particularly noted to us the attention to detail and thoughtful layout of spaces, which provided for multiple usable areas and relaxation.
