Kostenko Landscaping GREEN ACRES NURSERY & GARDEN CENTER Located within the beautiful community of Upper Gwynedd, the Kostenko from Green Acres Nursery & Garden Center is a showcase of the beautiful transformations that we can create from an outdoor space into an outdoor oasis. Representing an elaborate landscaping facade that offered a combination of nature and modern style for our beloved customer. It started with a detailed site analysis, which enabled our landscape architectural team to understand the existing topography and drainage patterns. The careful planning stage informed the installation of a beautiful stone patio in local Pennsylvania bluestone that connects the home directly with the outdoor space. With smooth curves and seating walls built right in, this patio will take your family entertaining outdoors, and keep them there! We selected a diverse palette of native plants like flowering perennials and ornamental grasses that suit the climate, adding beauty and enriching biodiversity to the area. These plants are aesthetically purposeful, providing seasonal colour and helping build habitat in local areas. We also created a custom rain garden along with the site to control stormwater runoff and to promote better landscaping practices. An uneven site often brings challenges, including drainage problems like the ones we encountered in this , detected and solved with proper grading and a French drain system. Apart from helping with the water crisis, this solution also preserved the life of the landscaping features. The end product from the Kostenko is a gorgeous backyard space that our clients now enjoy and all of the passerbys can admire instantly increasing the curb appeal of their home! The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and the family are thrilled that the newly landscaped space reflects their lifestyle and improves their outdoor enjoyment.
