Lemon Drops sport sunny yellow flowers on compact plants. Their beautiful hue brightens any spot with color. Great for the front of flower beds, patio containers or window boxes. Marigolds are known as a natural insect repellent, so putting them in your vegetable garden is useful.
Select a location with "at least" a half day of sunlight and plant after all danger of frost is past. For earlier blossoms, sow indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost. Soil should be cultivated and enriched with flower food. Firm soil over seed. Store seed in a cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.
