Sanchez Residence Water Garden Completed by SAVINO MILLER DESIGN STUDIO, the Sanchez Residence Water Garden was an ambitious that transforms a property in the heart of Miami. The purpose of the was to create a tranquil oasis, one that fit within the tropical landscaping, while providing a peaceful retreat for the family. At the heart of the water garden, is a beautiful koi pond and natural stone waterfall cascading into the crystal clear waters. The sound of flowing water adds to the tranquility and peacefulness, making it the perfect place to relax and reflect. Surrounding the pond, we incorporated native foliage, such as hibiscus, ferns and ornamental grasses that were suitable for Miami's climate. These thoughtful choices would provide year-round beauty with low maintenance. To overcome the issues of uneven country grading, we creatively developed a tiered landscape solution that added attractiveness, while providing proper drainage. Quality materials were introduced to achieve a natural look that felt like it belonged: locally sourced boulders and decorative gravel tied everything together. We included custom lighting around the water features for illumination after sundown when the water garden is at its most beautiful. The finished is a spectacular water garden, that has exceeded the family’s expectations. The Sanchez family now has a dynamic ecosystem of koi fish, beautiful flowers, and the ambient sound of flowing water to enjoy every day. The water garden is a perfect example of SAVINO MILLER DESIGN STUDIO's quality craftsmanship, ingenuity, and goal for client satisfaction. The Sanchez Residence Water Garden enhances the aesthetics of the property, while offering tranquil opportunities to enjoy the abundant natural splendor of Miami.
