About This Project

Summary: Landscape Impressions by Rock Spring Design Group LLC At Rock Spring Design Group LLC led by David Verespy, ASLA, we believe in transforming spaces into stunning landscapes that will resonate with your imagination. "Landscape Impressions" is our most recent that showcases our values of quality, creativity, and craftsmanship, and we appreciated serving the lovely communities of Bethel, Easton, Fairfield, and beyond. Situated within the confines of a suburban neighborhood, "Landscape Impressions" was conceived as a seamless blend of natural beauty and functional outdoor living space. We began with a detailed exterior site analysis which took into account the topography and existing vegetation to inform us site conditions and how to design in concert with them. The added a rich palette of native plants for sustainability and local wildlife to enjoy. Our team constructed multi-leveled planting beds out of locally sourced stone to add interest and structure. The addition of a calm-water feature also allowed for a focal point that draws attention while invoking relaxation. Because the site also had some sloped areas, we creatively managed grading for water drainage and terraced gardens for encouraging healthy plant growth. We also created a custom stone pathway that meanders through the property as a way for visitors to venture through a few different areas. The pathway was devised out of reclaimed granite to add rustic charm while remaining durable. From material selection to craftsmanship and detail, we ensured quality throughout the . The end product was a lovely outdoor oasis that not only captured the client's aesthetic aspirations, but created an inviting space for family gatherings or to simply ponder.
